Fiddle Recipient is Lurendia On January 3, 1999, Lurendia became the recipient of a violin. Pictured above is Executive Director of the Society, Eugene Peters, handing Lurendia her violin. Lurendia was six years old and attending Lowell Elementary School at the time she received the violin. She has been taking lessons and is doing a great job.
